Will it get my text past an AI detector?
We do not build for detectors, measure against them, or make claims about them. They are unreliable, and a product aimed at them would be a worse editor. Grain is for making a draft read like you.
Is this a grammar checker?
No. Grammar tools look for mistakes. Grain looks for sentences that are perfectly correct and still sound machine made: the repeated opener, the empty transition, the hedge on a hedge.
Does it rewrite my whole document?
Only if you accept every suggestion, one by one. Grain never edits in the background. You select a sentence, you look at the alternative, you decide.
What happens to my writing?
Your drafts and voice samples stay in your workspace, are used only to produce alternatives for you, and are never used to train models. You can delete any of it at any time.
